Description

The Clinical Applications Analyst position provides project management and coordinates patient care process design and reviews activities access to the organization to ensure maximum benefits and enhancements are achieved. Responsible for formatting, designing and building relevant clinical content into appropriate workflows to provide end-users with knowledge at the point of care in our Meditech Magic environment. This position is responsible for identifying areas at risk in coordination with other Clinical Analysts under the supervision of the CIO.



Medicare Billing Specialist - FT

Medicare Billing Specialist

Under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services the Medicare Billing Specialist verifies charges and Medicare/insurance information, releases Medicare and MSP claims electronically, sends hard copy claims if appropriate, follows up on all unpaid claims. Works Medicare On-Line system, past due reports, rejection reports, Medicare information requests.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff members, patients, and patient families, outside agencies and the general public

  • Daily billing of Medicare/MSP claims

  • Verifies all Medicare and Insurance information and checks each bill for correctness of charges on a daily basis.           

  • Make necessary changes by working with departments throughout the hospital and the Medicare on-line-system.

  • Bills electronically all claims that are eligible

  • Bills Hard copy all claims that are not eligible for electronically remittance.

  • Shares responsibility-downloading claims into the Electronic Billing System from the main computer in addition to transmission of claims

  • Responsible for follow-up of all the above claims     

  • By using daily report follows up on the entire above Medicare, MSP, Secondary insurance claims within a 45-day period.

  • Makes all necessary Medicare corrections on the Medicare-On Line System

  • Requests Medical records on all requests from HCFA , and makes sure they are sent in a timely manner.

  • Sends in appeals when appropriate for hospital or patients

  • Makes adjustments when necessary to all Medicare claims

  • Weekly works Medicare report for timely payment of claims 

  • Consistently works the Medicaid Reject remittance for the corrections of these claims and possible resubmission.

  • Reviews, research, and resolve all Medicare Credit Balance

  • Responsible for the Quarterly Medicare Credit Balance Report; Pulls all Credit balances from a report, and reports to the Patient Accounts Director for submission of information to HCFA

  • Other duties may be assigned



Cashier - FT

Full Time Cashier position.

Scope/General Purpose of Job:

Responsible for timely daily cash application of the clients receipts in accordance with GPRMC Billing standards and Reimbursement policy and procedures.  Is responsible for seeking resolution to problems relating to timely and efficient cash application while ensuring excellent communication between the Director and Supervisor of the Business Office while ensuring patient satisfaction.

Chief Nursing Officer - FT

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a vital member of the Hospital Leadership Team and provides professional clinical oversight in the day to day operations of the hospital. The CNO works collaboratively with all hospital departments, Medical Staff, and staff to accomplish the strategic goals for the entire organization. The CNO creates an innovative and accountable work environment that exemplifies a professional nursing workplace. This position will be responsible for risk management activities for the organization as well. The CNO will work to develop a culture of shared accountability, leadership, and compassionate patient care.



Case Manager/RN - FT

FT Case Manager/RN needed. Must have Oklahoma RN License in good standing. Benefits available.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved School of Registered Nursing.  Bachelors in Nursing or health care related field preferred. 

Two or more years of progressive experience in nursing management in an acute care setting.

Knowledge of medical record coding and documentation of medical record completeness a plus.

Must be willing to work in other areas as assigned.

Full-time Controller position available. Applicants must have a Bachelors in Finance or Accounting. Management experience preferred. Hospital accounting experience a must. Meditech experience a plus.



Respiratory Therapist - PRN

PRN Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Therapist position open. Must have valid Oklahoma license and a RRT credential. The position is for varried hours and every other weekend.


RN - 7p - 7a - Inpatient Rehab Unit - FT

Full-time 7p to 7a RN's needed for new Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. Must have Oklahoma RN license in good standing.

Ultrasound Tech - FT

Full-time Ultrasound Technician position open. Sonographerswill perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, gynecological, O/B, vascular echocardiogram exams: will work under the supervision of the Director of Radiology and department  Medical  Director.  Sonographers will perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections, maintain an effective working relationship with staff and senior leadership, and have a high level of service standards relating to our patients. Sonographers will be required to be On-call every fourth week.
